Inclusive Education – what you didn’t know you need to know
Inclusive education is the most effective way to give all children a fair chance to go to school, learn and develop the skills they need to thrive. Inclusive education means all children in the same classrooms, in the same schools.
We will explore fundamental concepts of the social model of disability and barriers. We will unpack what collaboration between professionals and parents/carers is and why it is essential for successful inclusive education. We will use practical examples, discussion and tasks to make connections to participants’ own work.
