Join us for an interactive workshop session on inclusive education!

Wen and Alex are final-year OT students who have been working on an inclusive education project for the last 10 months. The cumulation of the project is the webinar.

Together we will explore

Inclusive education is very important for all children so that they can have equal opportunities to receive the education they deserve. But what is inclusive education? Why is it so important? What does it look like and how can you implement inclusive education principles in your classroom?

Our workshop will explore principles and key considerations of implementing inclusive education in YOUR school setting, whether in your classroom or throughout the wider school environment. We will check in on our bias, explore myths about inclusive education, ideas and strategies to make your classroom more inclusive and review real life lesson plans.

The workshop will provide examples through diagrams and videos, resources to help you in your journey towards inclusivity and provide a platform for discussion so everyone can share their ideas and help each other. At the end of the workshop, we hope that you can come up with 1 change (or more) that you can bring to your classroom to make it more inclusive. Hope to see you there!
